Standpoints

At Ellect, our mission to end human trafficking is brought to life through a range of impactful projects. We are actively working on the ground to support victims, strengthen laws, and promote education and awareness in regions where trafficking is most prevalent. Our efforts are focused on providing direct aid to those affected, advocating for legal reform, and fostering international cooperation.

Point of view

1. Climate regulations: 

The government should try to ease on the climate regulations in the EU. Stricter rules could put pressure on the economy and jobs.

2. Housing: 

There is a significant shortage of affordable rental housing. By building at least 35 percent social housing, people with lower incomes will also have a chance at housing.

3. Healthcare: 

Hospitals struggle to remain financially viable because they serve fewer patients than large urban hospitals, yet still have to deliver the same quality of care. Additional government funding can ensure these hospitals remain open and have sufficient staff and equipment. To guarantee good, accessible, and equitable care for everyone, regional hospitals need additional support.
